Nestled within the vibrant Māoriland Hub, Toi Matarau presents 'Toi Matarau ki Kapiti,' an annual showcase of the Kapiti Coast Art Trail. This exhibition is a celebration of local artists, individuals connected to Kapiti, and the broader Māoriland community.
In 'Toi Matarau ki Kapiti,' a tapestry of sovereign storytellers manifests their creative dreams in unique and extraordinary ways, reflecting their deep connections to Home and Land on the Kapiti Coast and beyond.
