Artist Statement:  Sky Father and Earth Mother in Te Kore, Te Pō. 

Before the light there was darkness but from within the darkness all life existed.  Within the darkness specs of light, colour and life wriggled and competed for space and the opportunity to shine.  The primal parental embrace of mother and father begat the creation of the world of light Te Ao Mārama!  As their offspring multiplied so did their potential and inherent knowing.
