Jane has been the recipient of the Excellence in Theatre award at the 2014 Auckland Theatre awards, and in 2023, was a recipient of the PAANZ Fame Mid-Career award. She has an extensive work portfolio across a vast range of theatre shows throughout Aotearoa.
Her career in lighting and set design translates directly into her series of works, ‘Matariki Ramaroa ki Kapiti‘. The materials used are a quiet nod to her background in theatre, scenic storytelling encapsulated by a vintage glass theatre lens, a humble piece of home to carry with you.
