Pourama designs are inspired by the internal light we all hold within, showcasing our unique interpretations and cultural references of the past, present and future.

The very first glimmer of light that appeared well before the separation of Ranginui and Paptūanuku was the Hinatore, the light of the glow worm.

The Hinatore guided and gave much hope in a world of complete darkness.

With the separation of the divine parents Ranginui and Papatūanuku, Te Ao Marama, the world off light, came to be.

Our Māori spiritual traditions are rich with references to the light that exists in all creation, affirming the dynamic and subtle light we all carry within.

He pou hihiko, he pou rarama
