Clive is competent in Te Reo Māori me ōna tikanga. In 2019 he was a Year 13 Graduate of Te Kura Māori o Porirua. He also received The Prime Minister’s Vocational Excellence Award that year. In 2020, he was a first Year student of Toimairangi School of Māori Visual Art.
